Beginners’ Knitting

A beginner’s class. Learn how to cast on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch and how to cast off. Needles and yarn included. $30 for a 2 hour class.

Straight Loom Knitting

$30 including supplies (If you have your own straight loom kit, price will be reduced to $20.)
A beginner’s class. Learn how to easily make scarves and small blankets using a knitting loom. This is a two session class. In the first class, you will learn how to get started casting on and continue knitting. Then for homework, you will keep knitting until the desired length. Then return for your second session to learn methods of casting off the loom.

Circle Loom Knitting

A beginner’s class. Learn how to easily make hats and purses using a knitting loom. This is a two session class. In the first class, you will learn how to get started casting on and continue knitting, including a rim. Then for homework, you will keep knitting until the desired length. Then return for your second session to learn methods of casting off the loom.

- Introductory Spinning - Learn the basics. We'll introduce you to a spinning wheel and get you started on your first project. We start with getting the rhythm down by treadling, move on to create a single ply of yarn and finish with a simple ply. A few different fibers will be used in this lesson, and you will go home with a small sampling of yarn you made yourself! $32.00 for 1.5-2hrs, fiber included. - Introductory Needle Felt Flowers (Cookie Cutter) - Learn the basics of Needle Felt with a cookie cutter for shape control. As you finish the petals, we will sew them together with a nice bead center, bringing your flower to life. Fiber, cookie cutter, beads and needles are included. $30.00 for a 2 hour class.
